For the first time in over a decade the RAAF will be the Duty Service for the year and will be providing guest speakers and Ceremonial Escort Parties for all formal Ceremonies at the Sydney Cenotaph.

Anzac Day March this year will also be unique in that the RAAF Band will be the Band for the Dawn Service, lead the main March and also lead the post WW2 RAAF Contingent and I request as many members to attend if possible.

Also, for the first time in 2021, the year of the RAAF Centenary, the RAAF will lead the Parade. RAAF veterans and serving members will be at the front of the March.      I continue to negotiate to have the Band available.

This year Division will NOT be providing wheelchairs but, in conjunction with the RSL, we will have at least 2 X ten place electric buggies to seat veterans who need assistance ahead of the Air Force main contingents.

Those veterans who need walking canes must either use the buggies, bring their own wheelchair or be seated in the veteran seating areas and, unfortunately, there will be no compromise.

Once again, the RSL are adamant that veterans CANNOT be accompanied by families but only by a single carer.

The Order of March for this year is in the Events section of our website and no changes are foreseen except with a possibility that Ladies may be brought to the front of the main March. I will advise as this becomes clearer. Keep checking the website for updates.
